Archiving Policy

The Journal of Cloud Computing and Data Analytics is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content. To safeguard digital content and maintain academic integrity, the journal adopts multiple archiving and preservation strategies.

1. Institutional and Repository Archiving

All published articles are permanently archived in the journal’s official website and may also be deposited in institutional repositories, national libraries, and academic databases to ensure long-term availability.

2. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. This system provides decentralized preservation services to ensure continued access to the journal’s content in case the journal website becomes unavailable.

3. LOCKSS System

The journal supports the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) program. LOCKSS allows participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

4. CLOCKSS Archiving

Where applicable, the journal allows archiving through CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to ensure secure and sustainable digital preservation.

5. Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit the published version (PDF) of their article in:

  • Institutional repositories

  • Personal websites

  • Academic social networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu)

  • Subject-based repositories

provided that the original publication in the Journal of Cloud Computing and Data Analytics is properly cited.

6. Digital Backup

The journal maintains regular backups of all published content on secure servers to ensure protection against data loss and technical failures.
