Withdrawal Policy

The Journal of Cloud Computing and Data Analytics maintains strict publication ethics and follows transparent procedures regarding manuscript withdrawal. Authors are advised to submit manuscripts only when they are fully prepared for publication consideration.

1. Withdrawal Before Peer Review

Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript before the peer review process begins by submitting a formal withdrawal request via email to the editorial office. The request must include:

  • Manuscript title

  • Manuscript ID (if assigned)

  • Reason for withdrawal

  • Written consent from all co-authors

If the request is approved, the manuscript will be officially marked as withdrawn in the journal system.

2. Withdrawal During Peer Review

Withdrawal during the peer review process is discouraged. However, authors may request withdrawal in exceptional circumstances by providing a valid reason. The editorial office will review the request and inform the authors of the decision.

3. Withdrawal After Acceptance

Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication, withdrawal requests will only be considered under exceptional circumstances. If the journal has already invested significant editorial and peer review resources, a processing fee may be charged to cover editorial costs.

4. Withdrawal After Publication

Once an article has been published online, it cannot be withdrawn. If serious ethical issues arise (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation, or major errors), the article may be retracted following the journal’s retraction policy and ethical guidelines.

5. Unethical Withdrawal

Authors should not withdraw a manuscript after acceptance or during advanced stages of publication and submit it to another journal. Such actions are considered unethical and may result in:

  • Temporary or permanent ban on future submissions

  • Notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions

  • Public notice if necessary
