Abstract

Wireless sensor networks are self-organizing network systems with wireless communication composed of a large number of micro sensor nodes, which have been widely applied in modern agriculture. This paper expounds on the progress of wireless sensor networks in modern agriculture both domestically and internationally, provides a brief explanation of the relevant technologies used, and simultaneously analyzes and prospects the current process of data monitoring in agriculture using wireless sensor networks. It is believed that wireless sensor network technology will be the development direction of modern agriculture.
